Help us care for over 200 rescued donkeys while building skills that will make a lasting impact on your veterinary career—and on the future of donkey medicine. Interested veterinary students are invited to come to either of our veterinary facilities (California and/or Texas) for 1-4 week externships. There, students will work alongside experienced veterinarians in a supportive, teaching-focused environment while learning the unique physiology, behavior, and management of one of the most misunderstood species in the equine world. Housing and meals are provided for the duration of your rotation. Travel stipend may be available for those who qualify.
