Assist with animal restraint and handling to ensure safety and comfort during examinations, treatments, procedures, and surgeries Prepare and clean examination rooms, surgical areas, and treatment areas to maintain a sterile environment Clean and sterilize equipment and instruments Provide post operative care to animals Assist veterinarian and monitor animals during surgery Assist veterinarian with laboratory procedures Support veterinary care efforts by monitoring animals and reporting any changes in condition promptly Keep clinic clean and sanitary Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition This is a general overview of duties.
