Looking to add a Veterinary Assistant into a busy 2 Doctor practice. Previous veterinary experience required. Looking to add a positive thinking individual capable of wearing many hats. The ideal candidate will :

• surgical prep including IV catheter placement
• actively support veterinarians and other staff in daily patient and client care.
• be an active listener, paying close attention to details.
• Phlebotomy
• ability to calculate and administer injections
• observe the behavior and conditions of animals.
• actively demonstrate dependability and importance of work to clients, supervisor, and other employees.
• -participate in cross-training and willing to work in all areas of the hospital.
• easily adapt to situations that arise such as emergencies, taking initiative, dealing with high volume on the phone as well as in person.
