Job Type:
Full-time or Part-Time, Hourly Job Summary:
True Animal Vet is seeking an experienced and caring Kennel Technician to join our team. The Kennel Technician will be responsible for providing high-quality care and attention to our patients in the kennel area. The ideal candidate will have experience working with animals and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Feeding, watering, and providing comfortable bedding for animals in the kennel Walking dogs to provide exercise and bathroom breaks Cleaning and disinfecting kennels, cages, and other animal areas Maintaining accurate and complete medical records using ezyVet software Monitoring the health and behavior of animals and reporting any concerns to the veterinary team Assisting with animal restraint during examinations and treatments as needed Providing basic grooming services such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming Providing exceptional customer service to pet owners Performing other duties as assigned by the management team
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent or currently attending high school Experience or desire to work with animals, preferably in a veterinary setting Knowledge of animal behavior and basic health care needs Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as needed with advanced notice Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with veterinary team members Passion for providing exceptional animal care and customer service Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and protocols Benefits available to full-time employees only If you are a caring and dedicated individual with a passion for animal care, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity at True Animal Vet.
