Enchanted Oaks Animal Hospital is seeking a dependable, motivated Veterinary Assistant to join our team! We are an independently owned veterinary hospital that takes pride in providing exceptional patient care and fostering a positive, team-oriented workplace.

What We're Looking For:

At least 1 year of animal care experience preferred Veterinary hospital experience is a plus, but kennel, boarding, dog daycare, or other professional animal care experience will be considered Confidence handling dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude, excellent communication, and a team-first mentality Eagerness to learn new skills and grow professionally Must be comfortable with cleaning duties and physically demanding work Must be able to work some evening shifts until 8

PM Job Responsibilities:

Safely handle and restrain patients Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with patient care Prepare and maintain exam rooms and treatment areas Provide care and comfort to hospitalized patients Maintain hospital cleanliness and infection-control standards Help maintain an efficient daily workflow
