Comfort and proficiency with computer systems is a must; however, specific computer software knowledge is not essential. We will teach you what you need to know and set you up for success. Provide care for animals in the clinic, including feeding, bathing, and exercising. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques. Handle laboratory samples and assist with diagnostic tests as needed. Support the management of kennel operations, ensuring the health and well-being of all animals. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their animal's care and treatment plans. Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records. Participate in continuing education to stay updated on veterinary practices and terminology. Ability to be on call on evenings, weekends and holidays. Qualifications Previous experience is preferred but we will train the right people. Familiarity with veterinary terminology and procedures is highly desirable. Knowledge of aseptic techniques is a plus. Experience with veterinary critical care is an advantage. Strong animal handling skills and the ability to work compassionately with various species. Excellent communication skills with clinic team and patients, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in an intellectually stimulating, fast-paced environment. A commitment to providing exceptional care for animals while maintaining professionalism at all times. Strong computer skills; patient scheduling, medical record keeping and invoicing.
