About us North Ogden Animal Hospital We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant North Ogden Animal Hospital is a busy AAHA accredited hospital with fun outgoing staff, five highly respected doctors, and a focus on the special bond that people have with their pets. We are seeking a veterinary/medical assistant who enjoys working within a close-knit team. Someone who desires to make a difference for good with clients, patients, and coworkers. As a Veterinary Assistant at NOAH, you will: Extend the highest level of tailored service to clients when they visit or call the hospital Use your knowledge of veterinary medicine by assisting our doctors in diagnosing and treating pets:performing laboratory tests and monitoring critically ill patients Use your written and verbal communication skills to communicate with and educate our pet owners regarding health and care related issues. Provide recommendations to pet owners regarding the very best possible care for their pets Oversee and maintain medical records for accuracy and completeness Work in a team and patient centered environment with the common goal of providing excellent care of both our clients and their pets Above all, appreciate the love that owners have for their pets This position is full time with weekends off. Our compensation package includes paid time off, health insurance, dental & vision, 401k retirement plan, continuing education benefits, veterinary service and retail discounts.
