Duties Assist with animal restraint during examinations, treatments, and procedures to ensure safety for both animals and staff Support veterinary technicians with medication administration, sample collection, and laboratory testing Provide excellent pet care by feeding, bathing, grooming, and monitoring animals' health status Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of treatment areas, kennels, and equipment using aseptic techniques Handle front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, answering client inquiries, and managing patient records Support animal husbandry activities such as feeding schedules, habitat cleaning, and behavioral observations Assist with specialized procedures like animal catheterization and understanding animal physiology and anatomy Qualifications Previous kennel experience or animal handling background preferred; experience with dogs, cats, and equines is a plus Knowledge of veterinary terminology, pet care practices, and basic animal physiology required Experience in veterinary clinics or with veterinary technician tasks highly desirable Ability to perform animal restraint safely and effectively across various species Familiarity with laboratory procedures and aseptic techniques is advantageous Strong communication skills for working with clients and team members in a professional manner Passion for animal welfare with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in veterinary critical care and pet health management Embark on a rewarding career supporting animals' well-being!
