Job Overview Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician, where your passion for animal care and veterinary medicine will make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners. In this role, you will support veterinarians by providing exceptional animal handling, clinical assistance, and client communication. Responsibilities Assist veterinary staff with animal restraint, handling, and care during examinations, procedures, and treatments Prepare animals for surgery or diagnostic procedures by applying aseptic techniques and ensuring proper positioning Perform laboratory tasks including sample collection, processing, and basic analysis to support diagnostic efforts Maintain accurate records of animal treatments, medication administration, and laboratory results Support pet grooming, pet care routines, and basic pet training activities to promote comfort and well-being Operate X-ray equipment safely to obtain high-quality images for diagnosis while adhering to radiation safety protocols Manage animal husbandry duties such as feeding, cleaning enclosures, and monitoring health status Ensure all veterinary procedures are performed using proper veterinary terminology, sterile techniques, and safety standards Experience Previous Veterinary experience is preferred. Enthusiasm for working with animals is essential Knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and veterinary terminology to support clinical tasks effectively Experience with laboratory procedures or diagnostic imaging such as X-ray is advantageous Veterinary technician experience or related veterinary critical care exposure is highly valued Ability to handle dogs confidently using dog training techniques and dog handling skills Strong understanding of pet care practices including grooming, feeding, and basic pet grooming techniques Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail and compassion for animals Join us in creating a caring environment where animals receive top-quality care!
