Job Description
We are seeking veterinary assistant who has minimum 1-2 year experience working in a small animal practice. As a experienced staff you should be familiar with day to day operations of the practice such as reception coverage, restraining, providing necessary therapy/ treatment to the pets, to name a few. Proven experience as a Veterinary Assistant Experience in an administrative role is a plus Excellent communication skills Patient and caring personality Ability to follow instructions properly Comfortable being around animals (cats, dogs, etc.) Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (e.g. lift up to 40 lbs) Availability to occasionally work in emergencies High school diploma; a certificate from a Veterinary Assistant program would be an added benefit
