•$17.70 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Pet care Vital signs Filing Patient care Managing patient records Full Job Description Our veterinary team is looking to grow with veterinary assistants to support our daily care of pet patients. We see small animals and exotic pets. Occasionally we provide off site calls to farm animals. Your responsibilities will include answering phones, greeting clients, taking patient history and vitals and assisting our doctors. Other duties do include upkeep of the hospital and filing of records. We frequently have in office training sessions to help with your professional growth and expertise. Prior experience or training are preferred, but we will consider mature candidates with a desire to learn. Hourly rate is based on experience. Our current office hours are Monday
