Job Description
Maple Lane Veterinary Clinic is currently seeking a kennel attendant to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual who works well in a team environment while also being comfortable taking initiative and working independently. For those interested in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine, this position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive clinical setting. We are also proud to offer a very flexible scheduling structure. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) providing daily care for boarding pets and hospitalized patients, including feeding, cleaning, monitoring behavior, and ensuring overall comfort and well-being. Additional duties include bathing pets, assisting with basic animal care tasks, administering medications as directed, and maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary hospital environment. Candidates must be comfortable handling and walking large dogs. While prior animal handling experience is not required, it is certainly beneficial.
