Support pet care activities including feeding, medication administration, and monitoring animal behavior. Aid in record keeping by updating patient files with accurate medical history, treatment notes, and treatment plans. Assist with animal husbandry tasks such as feeding, grooming, and basic health assessments. Prepare surgical areas, sterilize instruments, and assist during procedures including IV insertions and catheterizations. Communicate effectively with clients regarding pet care instructions, medication schedules, and post-treatment care. Requirements Previous kennel experience or animal handling experience is highly preferred. Familiarity with veterinary terminology, record keeping, and basic medical procedures such as medication administration. Experience working with dogs, cats Ability to perform cleaning duties diligently while adhering to personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and task management. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration. Prior veterinary clinic or veterinary technician experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates committed to learning.
