Companion Animal Wellness Center, a practitioner-owned clinic in Poulsbo, is looking for an experienced individual to fill a full-time Veterinary Assistant position. As a small clinic, all our staff are an important piece of the puzzle. Duties of the Veterinary Assistant position include: Checking in, scribing, and facilitating appointments Restraining patients Taking dictation Communicating with clients regarding care plans for patients Filling prescription requests across various online platforms Cleaning and maintaining equipment Setting up surgery Coordinating with treatment and front staff to ensure a smooth flow

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a veterinary clinic, strong communication and computer skills, and a passion for providing compassionate, high-quality care to clients and patients. Our clinic is open Monday through Thursday 8am to 6pm; no late nights or weekends.
