We're looking for a Veterinary Assistant who is reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working closely with both patients and clients. ⸻ Responsibilities Restrain patients safely and compassionately Assist veterinarians and technicians with exams and procedures Prepare and maintain exam rooms and treatment areas Collect samples and run basic in-house diagnostics Assist with radiographs and patient monitoring Fill prescriptions and prepare medications Provide client education and discharge instructions Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic Support smooth daily workflow with the team ⸻ Qualifications Comfortable with basic animal handling and restraint Familiar with basic veterinary medical terminology Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Willingness to learn and grow in a new practice environment 1+ year of veterinary assistant experience preferred. ⸻ Compensation & Benefits $22-$28/hour, depending on experience Health insurance Paid time off + WA sick leave Employee pet care discount CE allowance and uniform stipend Consistent 4-day work week ⸻ About Us At Thistle Veterinary Clinic, we believe great medicine starts with strong relationships—with our clients, our patients, and each other.
