Our clinic is dedicated exclusively to cats, providing low-stress, high-quality medicine and exceptional client service in a calm and welcoming environment. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with both people and cats and thrives in a fast-paced veterinary setting. Position Overview This hybrid role combines front desk responsibilities with hands-on clinical support. The ideal candidate is confident communicating with clients, managing appointments, and assisting the medical team as needed. As a feline-only practice, our environment is typically quieter and less physically demanding than a traditional mixed or dog-focused clinic. Team members benefit from working without the challenges of handling large dogs, heavy lifting associated with larger patients, or the high-noise kennel environment common in many veterinary hospitals. Responsibilities Client Service & Front Desk Duties Greet clients and patients warmly and professionally Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage client communications Process payments and maintain accurate medical records Educate clients on preventive care, medications, and clinic policies Coordinate appointment flow and support overall clinic efficiency Veterinary Assistant Duties Restrain and handle cats safely using low-stress techniques Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness throughout the clinic Obtain patient histories and assist with treatments Support laboratory, pharmacy, and patient care tasks as needed Qualifications Previous veterinary clinic experience preferred Experience in customer service required Veterinary assistant experience strongly preferred Comfortable handling and restraining cats Strong communication and multitasking skills Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively Familiarity with veterinary software is a plus What We Offer Set schedule Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri (8am-6pm). No weekends!
