Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant / Technician to join our veterinary team. This role provides vital support in patient care, laboratory procedures, surgical procedures and clinical operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for pet care and animal welfare. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic veterinary environment. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with pet exams, treatment protocols and procedures Perform animal restraint and handling to ensure safety for both animals and staff Prepare animals for surgery or diagnostic procedures Conduct laboratory tests such as X-rays and in house blood work Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennels, treatment areas, and surgical suites Monitor patients during treatments and recoveries Support pet owners with pet care advice and education on animal health needs Maintain accurate records of treatments, laboratory results, and patient histories Experience Candidates should have relevant experience or familiarity with the following skills: Excellent communication skills Willingness to learn and adapt This role is ideal for individuals passionate about animal health who are eager to expand their technical skills in a professional veterinary setting. Pay based on experience level.
