Monday-Friday, 4/10s Schedule, between the hours of 7am-7pm . (NO WEEKENDS and

) Pet Emergency Treatment (PET), Alaska's leading 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency & Critical Care team in Anchorage, Alaska. Benefits are available to full-time employees. About the Role As an ER Licensed Veterinary Technician at PET, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting pets through urgent and critical medical situations.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting doctors with emergency and critical care procedures Monitoring anesthesia and patient vital signs Placing and maintaining IV catheters Collecting and processing diagnostic samples Performing accurate medical calculations Supporting digital radiography and treatment procedures Monitoring patient comfort and progress throughout hospitalization Communicating with clients compassionately and professionally Collaborating closely with doctors and team members to provide organized, efficient patient care Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of veterinary technician experience required Emergency or critical care experience preferred but not required Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) credential preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varied shifts as needed Why Anchorage?
