Fort Payne Animal Hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team. You'll play a key role in providing exceptional patient care, supporting our doctors, and helping create a positive experience for pets and clients alike. Primary Responsibilities Perform technical procedures such as venipuncture, catheter placement, radiographs, and laboratory testing Assist veterinarians during exams, surgeries, dental procedures, and treatments Monitor patients under anesthesia and during recovery Administer medications and treatments as directed by the doctor Educate clients on preventive care, home care, and treatment plans Maintain accurate medical records in Covetrus Pulse Help train and mentor veterinary assistants and support staff Ensure a clean, safe, and organized hospital environment Qualifications Active Veterinary Technician License in Alabama is required Previous experience in a small-animal clinical setting preferred Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills Compassionate, team-oriented, and committed to high-quality care Experience in surgery and dentistry is a plus

Compensation & Benefits Pay Range:

$15.00
