Veterinary Technician Animal Care Clinic - 3.4 Huntsville, AL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $18 - $25 an hour 3 days ago Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications Vascular access Animal catheterization Animal blood collection Veterinary procedure assistance Catheterization Patient treatment Veterinary dentistry Full Job Description The Animal Care Clinic is located in South Huntsville and is looking to add both Licensed Veterinary Technicians and experienced non-licensed veterinary assistants to our caring team. We are a 2-doctor practice with a full-service walk in animal hospital. The clinic treats primarily dogs and cats. We are a non-corporate practice thereby allowing our veterinarians and staff to treat patients as they feel necessary and not under the protocols of a corporate mandate. The clinic does a variety of soft-tissue and orthopedic surgery including pinning, plating and knees. We also do a variety of eye surgery, tumors, plastic and reconstructive surgery. Technicians are responsible for monitoring patients in surgery as well as the hospital. Treating patients, venipuncture, dentals and placing catheters are a must. We have flexible scheduling and alternate weekends. Saturday and Sundays we are closed but have a rotating treatment schedule for in-house patients. Specialty equipment included IDEXX digital radiography with automatic sets, dental radiology no need to measure. Ultrasound, rhinoscopy, endoscopy, Tono pin, IDEXX and Antech analyzers. We have a welcoming and warm family of team members. All veterinarians and supervisors are willing to help and train others to become the best patient providers they can be. We want to build solid relationships between all staff members as well as clients.
