Certified Veterinary Technician

Our growing practice is seeking a full-time, experienced Veterinary Technician. We are a busy small animal clinic located in Morrilton. Great work environment with potential to learn and grow with our team. No nights, weekends, or holidays!

Veterinary Technician Responsibilities:

Basic grooming Answering phones & helping with front desk duties as needed Patient handling and restraint Basic animal care Administering medications Able to obtain samples (feces, urine, blood, etc...) for laboratory testing Monitor patients Operate blood machines Surgical patient monitoring: anesthesia and vital signs Help with x-rays Placing IV catheters and administering IV fluids Assisting doctor in surgery and exam rooms Basic cleaning Must have exceptional customer service skills Must excel at multitasking Must be responsible, dependable, & hardworking Must be able to lift at least 50lbs and to stand for long periods of time The right applicant must be able to work well in a team environment, have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a dedicated work ethic, provide excellent client/patient care, and be willing to learn from our team.
