Job Description
PetsVet Animal Hospital, a multi-doctor small animal and exotics practice, is searching for an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our exceptional team. This is an excellent opportunity for Certified Veterinary Technician with current experience, excellent critical thinking skills, a passion for veterinary medicine, and a commitment to lifelong learning. This is a full-time position with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday and rotating Saturdays.
Background and Experience:
3+ years of veterinary technician experience Active and good-standing Certified Veterinary Technician in the state of Arizona• Long-term commitment to the veterinary field Passionate about building a strong bond with clientele and our team Team player who is productive, dependable, focused, and detail-oriented Committed to a career in veterinary medicine with interest in growth and ongoing training Knowledge of Cornerstone is a plus, but not required Experience working with exotics is a plus, but not required Full-Time Benefits and Compensation•
Compensation:
$24-$26/hour, for each hour worked•
Bonus Package:
$2,000
CE Allowance:
$500 for first year & $1000 every year following

Responsibilities:
Anesthetic induction Anesthesia monitoring Surgical preparation and assistance Dental prophy Digital radiology Patient handling and restraint Blood draws IV catheter placement Suture wounds and incisions Pharmacy duties Lab work Drug calculations Outpatient procedures Microscopic evaluation Administer vaccines, injections, and medications Client communication and education Assist with training and developing team members Get to know us: PetsVet Animal Hospital is committed to the highest quality medicine and has an enjoyable work environment with excellent leadership and skilled support staff. We have 2 surgical monitoring units, 2 wet tables, digital radiology, cold laser, endoscope, ultrasound, and IDEXX in-house blood machines.
