We support your growth professionally and offer regular CE opportunities Duties are as follows but not limited to: Oversee and support intake and discharge of surgical patients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and client communication Perform and document accurate patient vitals; ensure team adherence to monitoring protocols Perform and oversee blood draws and catheter placement, providing guidance and support to team members as needed Ensure proper drawing, logging, storage, and administration of controlled drugs in compliance with protocols Perform and supervise intubation and anesthesia monitoring, ensuring patient safety and team competency Maintain and audit medical records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance Oversee post-operative care and recovery, ensuring protocols are followed and issues are escalated appropriately Ensure proper cleaning, sterilization, and organization of surgical instruments and equipment Support daily surgical workflow and step in clinically as needed to maintain efficiency and patient care standards Coach, train, and develop team members, ensuring consistent adherence to clinical standards and protocols Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods in a fast-paced surgical environment About us: Since opening in 2016, Dr. Kelly's has grown from 1 to 7 locations, covering the Phoenix, Tucson, and Flagstaff areas, with more on the way! We provide over 20,000 low-cost and free pet surgeries to our community each a year. We offer affordable, compassionate and convenient surgical solutions to pets and their parents. Our Flagstaff hospital has 1 Doctor working in close proximity with 3 nurses. We are a fast-paced facility performing 10-15 surgeries per day including but not limited to S/N's, dentals, mass removals, cystotomy, amputations, cherry eye, etc. You will need to be able to move quickly and stay focused.
