Job Description
Who We Are Aspen Veterinary Clinic is a four-doctor, AAHA-accredited mixed animal practice located in Flagstaff, AZ, a mountain town where four seasons bring everything from summer sunshine to winter snow, with easy access to skiing, hiking, and nearby national parks. We offer a diverse caseload that includes small animals, equines, exotics and small ruminants. Our team is collaborative and supportive, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and creating a client experience where relationships matter and people feel genuinely cared for. What You Will Do As a technician on our team, you'll have opportunities to be involved in: Complex case management Small animal, equine, exotic, livestock, and small ruminant cases Ambulatory and emergency appointments Orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries Small animal and equine dentistry Ultrasonography, including echocardiograms You'll also play an active role in patient care, including: Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery Patient treatments, catheter placement, and hospitalized care Laboratory work including phlebotomy and advanced diagnostics Client communication and education Why You Will Love Working Here The best team culture - supportive, positive, and collaborative Ability to make a meaningful impact for patients, clients, and your team Technicians are trusted to fully use their skills and training Mentorship and hands-on training 4-day work week Continuing education support, including CVT assistance Health Reimbursement Arrangement 401(k) with 3% match PTO and employee assistance program Discounted veterinary services Bonuses for after-hours patient care What We Are Looking For Can-do attitude with strong attention to detail Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Strong technical and communication skills Proficient in anesthesia, phlebotomy, and patient care Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Willingness to work weekend shifts Equine experience strongly preferred CVT preferred
