Job Description

VCA Valley Animal Hospital of Sahuarita is looking for a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our growing practice in Sahuarita, Arizona. We pride ourselves on having a diverse, family atmosphere where everyone is valued. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for excellent patient and client care.
Location:
15990 S Rancho Sahuarita Blvd, Suite 130, Sahuarita, AZ 85629
Schedule:
Hospital hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, and Saturday, 9 am to 4 pm. Rotating schedule We are a full-service, AAHA-accredited hospital where patient and client care is our top priority. Our staff is cross-trained in every aspect of the hospital, from answering phones and greeting clients to induction and monitoring anesthesia. Our technicians are highly leveraged. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Venipuncture Catheter placement Radiology Anesthesia monitoring Physical examinations and patient assessment Surgical preparation and assisting Dentistry Laboratory work Pharmacy Patient recovery Compassionate care for hospitalized patients
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have documented previous experience CVT license a plus, but not required Must have surgery experience Flexibility in hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays Customer service skills Working knowledge of computers Excellent communication skills Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments We offer competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including: medical/dental/vision and paid vacation (for F/T employees only), 401(k), generous personal pet care discounts, and more!
