A little about us, we have three wonderful doctors who practice high quality general medicine in a clean, easily accessible facility with modern equipment. We're located in the heart of Alamo and are very fortunate to provide service to a friendly clientele. Our awesome patients are primarily dogs, cats and the occasional exotic pet. Our team is hard working and ready to welcome a new member into our little family! Now, for the details: We're looking for an RVT or Experienced Technician. This position is open immediately! Required skills include but are not exclusive to: Ability to show compassion and kindness to all people and pets you meet at all times Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proven ability to work with the public in an often-stressful environment Strong computer and multi-tasking skills Ability to effectively handle both busy, stressful situations and slow, tedious situations and be able to stay productive in both!

Required Technician skills include:

animal restraint, obtaining samples for the lab, running in-house lab-work, performing anesthesia induction and monitoring, performing dentistry including extractions and dental x-rays, obtaining radiographs of all body parts, IV catheterization, drug calculations, nursing and keeping tools and work areas clean and organized are just a few of the required technical skills. We are looking for a technician with at least 5 years of experience performing these skills. Ability to work opening, closing and Saturday shifts and flexibility with your schedule are required. We are open 8:00 am to 6:00 pm M-F and 8:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturdays. We are closed on Sunday.
