In this energetic role, you will support veterinarians in delivering comprehensive medical services, ensuring the well-being of a diverse range of animals. Your expertise in animal handling, laboratory procedures, dental care, and critical care will help create a positive and healing environment for our patients. We're looking for passionate professionals eager to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners through compassionate, skilled veterinary support. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with medical examinations, surgical procedures, and diagnostic tests using veterinary terminology and aseptic techniques. Perform animal restraint and catheterization to ensure safe handling during treatments. Conduct laboratory tests, analyze results, and maintain accurate records to support diagnosis and treatment plans. Support dental procedures by understanding dental terminology and assisting with pet grooming and oral care. Handle dogs and cats with confidence in animal physiology and anatomy knowledge. Operate X-ray equipment safely to obtain diagnostic images while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness of treatment areas, sterilize instruments, and uphold infection control standards to ensure an aseptic environment. Provide pet care education to clients on animal care practices such as pet grooming, nutrition, and behavioral training. Assist with emergency veterinary critical care cases by applying veterinary technician experience and animal first aid skills. Support kennel management tasks including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring animals' health status. Experience Prior experience is highly preferred but open to new grad RVTs Demonstrated veterinary technician experience with knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal anatomy. Experience in laboratory procedures or diagnostic imaging such as X-ray is advantageous. Familiarity with dental terminology and pet grooming techniques is a plus. Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and educating pet owners about animal care practices.
