Licensed Veterinary Technician Southern California Veterinary Dental Specialties Inc - 3.0 Dublin, CA Job Details Part-time $30 - $35 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications Serving clients Veterinary Technician Certification Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) Community relationship building Full Job Description Veterinary Dental Specialties is hiring an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician with a passion for dentistry and anesthesia to join our Dublin team. This is a part-time position with 10-12 hour shifts. There is no set schedule. Work schedules are posted 3 months in advance. This position earns a competitive wage of $30 to $35 per hour depending on experience. Technical abilities and skills Induction, management, and recovery of anesthesia Knowledge of common medications and filling medications The ability to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment and commitment to building relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community is required. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required. The ability to deliver exceptional client service. Proficient with administering subcutaneous fluids and injections, intramuscular and intravenous injections, intravenous catheters, CRIs, and calculations. Surgical prep and assisting Instrument and equipment sterilization and maintenance Dental radiographs Knowledge of fluid pumps and fluid setup, including syringe pumps and administration
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
Two or more years of experience performing the above duties. (Required) Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) (Required) Able to perform moderately physically demanding work that requires a lot of lifting (up to 50 pounds), cleaning, and constant motion. Must pass a background and drug screening (THC not tested)
