The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care and welfare, along with the ability to assist veterinarians in providing high-quality medical care to a variety of animals. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for an experienced technician to work Saturdays 7:45am-1:15pm.

Pay :

TBD based on experience Availability must include Saturdays Responsibilities include but not limited to: Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures by holding animals and preparing necessary instruments. Lift up to 40lbs Effective communication with clients Maintain accurate, complete digital medical records Perform routine tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and preparing animals for surgery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including kennel areas and examination rooms. Provide basic grooming services to pets as needed. Handle and care for animals in a safe and humane manner. Assist with animal catheterization and perform basic X-ray procedures under supervision. Ability to administer injections, collect laboratory specimens, fill prescriptions, run in house diagnostics Monitor animal behavior and report any changes or concerns to the veterinary team. Monitoring anesthesia. Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and hygiene practices. Skills Proficiency in animal handling techniques, including dog/cat handling and experience. Knowledge of animal physiology and veterinary critical care practices is preferred. Familiarity with kennel operations and maintenance. Ability to perform basic veterinary technician duties is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members.
