Full Job Description Overview:
We are looking for an RVT, to join our hospital. We are looking for someone who is a team player and loves animals. We are committed to working closely with the family members to provide the best care for their pets.
Duties:
  • Assist veterinarians in routine examinations and surgical procedures
  • Perform animal husbandry tasks, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring behavior
  • Administer medications and vaccines under the direction of a veterinarian
  • Conduct X-rays and assist with diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Handle animal restraint during examinations and treatments
  • Perform animal catheterization and assist with dental procedures
  • Maintain knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
  • Ensure proper use of aseptic techniques in all procedures
  • Provide support in veterinary critical care situations
Experience:
  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or related field preferred
  • Proficiency in animal husbandry, pet care, and animal restraint techniques
  • Knowledge of X-Ray procedures and animal catheterization
  • Familiarity with dental terminology in veterinary medicine
  • Certification as a Veterinary Technician.
