Full Job Description Overview:
We are looking for an RVT, to join our hospital. We are looking for someone who is a team player and loves animals. We are committed to working closely with the family members to provide the best care for their pets.Duties:
- Assist veterinarians in routine examinations and surgical procedures
- Perform animal husbandry tasks, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring behavior
- Administer medications and vaccines under the direction of a veterinarian
- Conduct X-rays and assist with diagnostic imaging procedures
- Handle animal restraint during examinations and treatments
- Perform animal catheterization and assist with dental procedures
- Maintain knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
- Ensure proper use of aseptic techniques in all procedures
- Provide support in veterinary critical care situations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or related field preferred
- Proficiency in animal husbandry, pet care, and animal restraint techniques
- Knowledge of X-Ray procedures and animal catheterization
- Familiarity with dental terminology in veterinary medicine
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician.
