This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on veterinary experience who enjoys working directly with patients and being part of a supportive, team-oriented environment. Our clinic has a newly constructed treatment area with updated equipment and technology. We are a non-corporate practice led by Dr. Lewis and pride ourselves on a positive, collaborative workplace culture. Our hospital emphasizes a Fear Free approach , high-quality medicine, and a collaborative, upbeat team environment. We are proud to have recently passed our Veterinary Medical Board inspection and maintain all equipment to the highest standards. There is no boarding or grooming done at our clinic. Schedule Monday-Friday:
8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Two Saturdays per month: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM Closed Sundays Saturday availability required Key Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and procedures Animal restraint for exams, diagnostics, surgeries and treatments Collect and process lab samples (blood, urine, fecal) Administer medications and vaccines as directed Monitor patients during procedures and recovery Prepare and maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment Maintain accurate medical records Support team workflow and assist with client communication as needed Requirements Minimum 1 year of veterinary clinic or animal hospital experience (required) Experience as a veterinary assistant or technician preferred Strong knowledge of basic veterinary procedures and animal handling Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask Excellent communication and teamwork skills Detail-oriented, reliable, and professional Comfortable learning practice management software (we use Pulse by Covetrus) Our Hospital & Work Environment Fear Free approach to patient handling Typically 2 dental procedures and 1 soft tissue surgery daily (or similar case flow) Equipped with ultrasound, digital X-ray, and laser therapy Modern exam rooms with laptops in each room New in house Heska lab machines (blood only, no urine) Supportive, energetic, and collaborative team culture Computer program: Pulse by Covetrus Why Join Us?
