In this role, you'll be an essential part of our patient care team, performing high-level technical tasks, supporting doctors during procedures, carrying out treatment plans, and helping ensure our hospital runs efficiently and compassionately. What You'll Be Doing Provide attentive, compassionate care to all patients Support veterinarians and RVTs during appointments, diagnostics, and treatments Perform blood draws, IV catheter placements, and sample collection as directed Monitor patients under anesthesia and sedation, and assist with prep and recovery Perform in-house and send-out laboratory diagnostics Restrain patients for procedures and treatments Prepare patients for surgery and assist with instrument sterilization and surgical area setup Administer medications, vaccinations, and other treatments as directed Participate in maintaining clean, well-stocked treatment and exam areas Support hospital sanitation and infection control procedures Assist with inventory restocking and organization Help with patient handling, restraint, feeding, and comfort care Contribute to a positive team environment, staff input, and hospital improvement Provide client education and discharge instructions Lend a paw wherever needed in the ever-changing world of veterinary medicine What You Bring to the Table Minimum 2 years of experience in a veterinary clinical setting as a Veterinary Technician Ability and confidence to perform all of the tasks mentioned above High School diploma Strong team communication, organizational, and team collaboration abilities Excellent client communication skills to keep clients informed and supported Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment Desire to contribute to a progressive, supportive hospital culture Energy level crossed between a golden retriever and 3am cat zoomies What You Take Home $20 - $25 per hour based on years of experience plus discretionary year-end bonus Medical, dental, and vision insurances plus retirement plan with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Continuing education allowance, license renewal support, and the chance to build something new in a brand-new hospital setting Wellness reimbursement program, mental health assistance, and a ton of free CCVH gear
