Our technicians are pivotal in delivering exceptional care to our patients. In this role, you will maintain detailed records, review and implement treatment plans, and address client questions regarding their pet's care. You will also work closely with your team to manage the veterinarian's orders, ensuring the highest standards of patient care while maintaining an efficient workflow. This role is ideal for detail-oriented technicians who excel in multitasking and want to utilize their skillset and license. This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday.
Full-time benefits and compensation:
Compensation:
$28 - $32/hour, based on experience and skillset Bonus package: $2000 CE allowance: $500 the first year, $1,000 annually thereafter Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability Employee Assistance Program 401k Match Minimum qualifications and skillset: 3+ years of veterinary technician experience Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of California•Proficiency in the following skills: Anesthesia Monitoring Cystocentesis Phlebotomy IVC Placement Radiology (positioning and technique) Get to know us: Bay Animal Hospital is a large, AAHA-accredited small-animal practice with 9 doctors and 3 credentialed technicians caring for dogs and cats. The 5,000-square-foot hospital was renovated in 2020 and features 7 exam rooms, digital X-ray, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and ECG. Case exposure includes soft tissue surgery, dentistry, orthopedic procedures, foreign bodies, ophthalmology, and mass removals, with visiting orthopedic, ophthalmology, and cardiology specialists. The team is upbeat, family-oriented, collaborative, and supportive, with strong doctor relationships and a reputation for quality care. Located minutes from the ocean in Manhattan Beach, employees can enjoy the beaches, restaurants, shops, and laid-back Southern California lifestyle.
