Animal Medical Hospital of Pasadena is a small 3 doctor practice who has been in the community since 1927, and we are looking for a registered veterinary technician (RVT). We have regular team meetings, and we believe that our team members are very important to the success of the hospital. This is a full-time position requiring at least one year of experience working as an RVT. Benefits for our f/t team members: Salary range $25-$30 DOE Health Insurance Dental & Vision Insurance PTO Sick pay 401k Veterinary discounts for employee-owned pets Our RVT'S use their in-depth medical knowledge and their highly developed organizational skills to manage and direct the client/patient flow at our hospital. They assist our veterinarians with the diagnostics and treatments of patients: monitoring anesthesia, performing lab-work, assisting with oral health procedures and surgery, as well as monitoring hospitalized patients. We also utilize digital x-ray, in-house lab work, and ultrasound to provide excellent medical care. We are looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills. We strive to provide in-depth education to our clients regarding the health and care of their beloved pets, and we need caring team members to communicate this information.
