Job Description

We're looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our veterinary team! This role focuses on providing high-quality technical support to our veterinarians while delivering excellent patient and client care in a positive, team-oriented hospital environment. What You'll Do Provide hands-on technical support to veterinarians during exams and procedures Perform advanced RVT duties including anesthesia monitoring, dental procedures, radiology, laboratory testing, and patient care Accurately handle and document-controlled substances in compliance with regulations Monitor hospitalized patients and ensure their comfort and safety Maintain equipment, treatment areas, and accurate medical records Communicate compassionately and clearly with clients, including patient education Ensure a clean and organized hospital environment through disinfecting, stocking exam rooms, and assisting with general facility upkeep Provide backup phone and front desk support as needed What We're Looking For Current California RVT license required Experience in a veterinary or animal care setting preferred Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills Proficiency with IDEXX Neo or related veterinary software Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to high-quality patient care Qualifications High school diploma or GED required At least 1 year of experience working with animals preferred
Pay:
$21.00 - $31.00 per hour
