Join the Sierra Ranch Veterinary Clinic team as part-time or relief dental RVT! The ideal candidate is a positive, team-oriented professional with strong communication skills, and a solid work ethic. A current RVT license is required.
Skills include:
General product knowledge: medical terminology, anatomy, medications, etc. Our team members must be self-motivated, have great customer service skill sand have the ability to understand time management to be able to prioritize effectively.
Ability to perform:
Perform professional dental cleanings under anesthesia Obtain full-mouth digital dental radiographs Accurately identify and document dental abnormalities and periodonal disease Charge dentla findings using proper veterinary dental terminology Able to perform simple and complicated extractions Perform dental polishing TPR, understands signalments Ability to restrain dogs and cats Ability to perform
SQ, IM, IV
injections Medical terminology Blood draws, IV Cath placement Basic diagnostics, which includes radiographs and in-house lab's. Drug Calculations Laser Therapy experience is a plus Strong communication skills with clients
