Overnight Registered Veterinary Technician

Remedy Veterinary Specialists is a boutique practice in San Francisco, CA that specializes in neurology, integrative pain management, and physical rehabilitation. We are looking for our next team member for overnight care. This shift may receive new or emergency patients but is not an active ER. (remedyvets.com) What we are looking for: A self-motivated, professional, and empathetic person that is comfortable working independently (without a DVM on site) with good critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills. Patients that stay overnight are most often post-operative and/or have neurological deficits that require careful attention to changes in mentation, ambulation, and comfort. We need someone who is able to stay calm and collected in the midst of a seizing animal or an animal that is not able to walk and needs extra attention during their time of need. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and assist the veterinary assistant that will be working with you. Someone who is compassionate to not only our patients, but their owners also.

Shift hours:

8pm-8:30am, Thursday and Friday. More hours are negotiable.

• Medical math competency
• Comfort with basic anesthesia monitoring
• High patient care standards

$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
