Job Description
What we have to offer:
Besides progressive and specialty level veterinary care for our patients, we are dedicated to maintaining our culture of inclusivity, understanding and treatment of all team members with respect and dignity. Have a doctor's appointment or therapy session you need to make? Go for it. Do you need support in learning a new skill? We got you. Remedy's CEO is a founding member of NOMV, and we take personal wellness seriously. We are also dedicated to your personal growth whether that is learning new clinical skills or improving interpersonal communication. We offer a generous CE allowance, cover license renewal fees, annual scrub allowance, competitive pay, benefits, a well-stocked breakroom, and a comfy place to sleep when things are a bit slow.Shift hours:
8pm-8:30am, Thursday and Friday. More hours are negotiable.Compensation:
starting at $40+ per hour, DOE. Please send resume to scital@remedyvets.com This role is tailor-made for the highly self-motivated professional who doesn't need someone holding their hand. Yup, you're an adult who we are putting a lot of trust in. You know how to find things to do, even when no one is looking over your shoulder. Patient care always comes first, followed by a nightly task list. If you can juggle excellent patient care, check off the task list, and handle the occasional curveball from management—you're golden. Now here's the fun part: once the important stuff is done, you're free to work on whatever else keeps you sane and happy—homework for a course, knitting that never-ending scarf, catching up on a book, blogging about your cat's secret life, or whatever quirky hobby you're into… as long as it doesn't interfere with patients or responsibilities and is legal. And if there are no patients? Feel free to head out early or skip coming in altogether. Seriously. This role is especially perfect if:- You're a burnt-out professional who's had enough of the high-octane grind and just wants a chill, patient-centered gig.
- You're in school and need a steady job that actually leaves you with mental bandwidth for your studies.
- It's not for someone who's itching to build a whole new arsenal of skills overnight.
- It's not a bootcamp for high achievers looking to climb some mythical ladder.
- And it's definitely not for someone who panics when there isn't a mile-long to-do list.
What we require:
- Medical math competency
- Comfort with basic anesthesia monitoring
- High patient care standards
- Comfortable supervising and training a veterinary assistant Think of this role as the professional equivalent of a hammock: steady, comfortable, and still serving its purpose… but with plenty of room to relax.
