Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to work in both our clinic and mobile practice, assisting with small animal medicine, anesthesia, dentistry, surgery, and preventive care, with opportunities to work alongside our large animal team for those interested. Key Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians in all aspects of patient care, including exams, anesthesia, surgery, and recovery. Perform blood draws, radiographs, IV catheter placement Manage anesthesia monitoring and patient safety during procedures. Perform dental cleanings, radiographs, and patient treatments. Participate in mobile visits, setting up and assisting with on-site diagnostics and treatments. Mentor and train veterinary assistants, externs, and volunteers. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper patient documentation. Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in a supportive and professional manner. Contribute to an organized, efficient, and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

Current California RVT license required. Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (mobile experience a plus). Strong communication and teamwork skills. Passion for teaching and mentoring others. Ability to work independently in the field and adapt to various clinical settings. Commitment to patient safety, client education, and continuous learning.
