Hospital Hours
  • Monday
  • Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
Salary:
$29
  • 31/hour; compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.
VCA Santa Monica Main Street Animal Hospital is a general practice hospital focused on "World-class medicine, with Hometown care" by ensuring that our love of animals translates into compassionate care and respect for our patients. We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician who is a believer in the possibilities of high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen. Essential job expectations, including, but not limited to: Venipuncture Catheter placement Radiology Anesthesia monitoring Physical examinations and patient assessment Surgical preparation and assisting Dentistry Laboratory work Pharmacy Patient recovery Compassionate care for hospitalized patients Qualified Candidates will have: Must have documented previous Animal Hospital experience Hold a current California RVT license Must have surgery and dentistry experience Flexibility in hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays Customer service skills, including Phone skills Working knowledge of computers Excellent communication skills Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments Why Join The VCA Family?
