Job Description

We are seeking an experienced RVT with a confident skill set to accomplish daily tasks in a team setting or as an individual. The ideal candidate will be organized, able to demonstrate strong decision-making skills and willing to provide excellent medical care and customer service.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
  • Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations, blood draws, and dental cleanings
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
  • Monitor and record vital signs of animals during procedures and treatments
  • Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
  • Conduct laboratory tests and analyze samples
  • Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
  • Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration
  • Clean and maintain veterinary equipment and work areas
Requirements:
  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) required.
  • Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal care, and animal physiology
  • Experience working with a variety of animals
  • Proficiency in handling and restraining animals safely and effectively
  • Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with a team-oriented approach.
  • Emotional intelligence, able to handle stressful situations gracefully.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
