A typical shift includes:
Greeting pet owners and walking them through what happens next, start to finish Taking vitals and building a complete patient history at intake Restraining patients safely, administering medications, and providing nursing and husbandry care Positioning, shooting, and processing diagnostic radiographs Collecting and running samples: blood, urine, fecal, cytology, and others Prepping surgical patients, then assisting with induction, anesthetic monitoring, and recovery Keeping documentation accurate and current on histories, treatment plans, and medications given
Your Background Required:
Graduate of a veterinary technology program accredited by the
AVMA RVT
