Job Type Full time We are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Veterinary Assistant (VA) to join our Internal Medicine Team at VCA Orange County Veterinary Specialists.

4 days, 10-hour shifts, late swing or overnight,

Full-Time Compensation:

RVT $25

• $30 / hour or VA $ 20

We believe in high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care, and making that happen through dedication and learning. The position is for four, 10-hour shifts, 8:30 am-7 pm or 10 am-8:30 pm. This will include at least one weekend day (unless you are a glittery unicorn that really, really wants to work Saturdays AND Sundays, which we would be happy to accommodate).

Duties will include:

Maintaining medical records. Preparing for and performing procedures and treatments. Preparing medications and prescriptions. Communicating in person and on the phone with clients. Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging. Assisting in procedures. Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for hospitalized pets. Assisting in other areas of the hospital, as needed.
