We are a privately owned 2-doctor small animal, avian and exotic veterinary practice with a passion for providing high-quality care to our animal patients and exceptional service to their owners. Our clinic offers a supportive and collaborative environment where you can grow your skills and make a difference in the lives of pets and their families. We currently have 3 CVTs on staff and are looking to add a fourth as our practice continues to grow. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well with team members. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing medical care to our patients and supporting our veterinarians.

Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgeries
• Perform diagnostic tests, such as blood work and radiographs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
• Monitor and care for hospitalized patients
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Educate pet owners on preventive care and treatment plans
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment
• Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately

Qualifications:

• Veterinary Technician certification (CVT, LVT, RVT) preferred
• Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting
• Strong knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Compassion for animals and their owners
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
