Treeline Vet is boutique Medical Oncology clinic that specializes in Pet Cancer Consultations, staging and diagnostics, chemotherapy administration, and immunotherapy treatments. We focus on providing the best and most advanced medical care to our patients, while ensuring that our clients are comfortable as well. Treeline Vet uses a concierge model of care which acknowledges that every client and every patient is unique. We strive to provide clients and patients with all the comfort and care that they require in order to have a positive experience in what can be a stressful time. Responsibilities of our Oncology Veterinary Technician include: Overseeing appointments and guiding clients through outpatient appointments Assisting the Oncologist with exams, diagnostics, and procedures Reviewing patient medical records and obtaining thorough histories Venipuncture and running in-house laboratory samples (we have IDEXX machines) Obtaining radiographs using DR software (IDEXX) Handling and processing of aspirate and fluid samples. Opportunity to expand FNA skills if interested. Preparing and administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and small molecule inhibitors with high quality PPE including Phaseal Closed System Transfer Devices Maintaining a clean and organized treatment area and clinic, including disinfecting and cleaning all areas of our space, inventory, and stocking Providing exceptional and friendly client communication and education to the families we serve Providing compassionate, caring, and meticulous nursing care to our patients
WHO WE NEED
Must be a Colorado RVT Proficiency in venipuncture IV catheter placement Induction and monitoring of sedated patients Optimism and ability to provide empathy and comfort to clients, while respecting their personal decisions. Must be able to lift 35lb and work on feet for several hours at a time Ability to accept challenges as they arise - we are a start-up practice after all!

Schedule requirements:
