You'll work hand-in-hand with our veterinarians to provide seamless care. From the first hello in the exam room to specialized surgical support. You aren't just "assisting"; you are educating clients, managing advanced technical tasks, and ensuring our patients receive compassionate, top-tier treatment.What You'll Do Clinical Excellence:
Perform physical assessments, administer vaccines, and handle SQ, IM, and IV injections with precision.Surgical & Dental Support:
Lead anesthesia induction and monitoring, prep surgical suites, and assist in dental procedures.Diagnostics:
Conduct in-house lab work (fecals, blood draws, skin scrapes, etc.), take high-quality radiographs, and prep for ultrasounds.Patient Advocacy:
Monitor hospitalized patients, recognize changing clinical signs, and provide emergency interventions (resuscitation, oxygen, etc.) when needed.Client Education:
Act as a trusted resource for clients regarding prescriptions, home care instructions, and preventative wellness.What We're Looking For Certification:
CVT/RVT/LVT
is highly preferred.Experience:
Previous on-the-job training is required if not certified.Skills:
Proficiency in IV catheter placement, blood draws, and surgical monitoring.Mindset:
A positive, cooperative attitude with a "no task is too small" approach to maintaining a clean, orderly hospital.Physical Ability:
Able to lift up to 40 lbs and remain active on your feet throughout the day.Pay:
