Veterinary Technician

• Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
• Perform various laboratory tests and procedures
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
• Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
• Take and develop x-rays
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas
• Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment
• Provide compassionate care to animals in distress ```Experience```
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician preferred
• Proficient in aseptic technique and animal restraint
• Knowledge of veterinary critical care and animal husbandry
• Experience with animal catheterization
• Familiarity with dog training and handling

Requirements:

• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
