Veterinary Technician Vista Animal Hospital is seeking experienced Veterinary Technicians to join our dynamic team. What You'll Do as a Veterinary Technician Duties include, but are not limited to: Obtain patient history and vitals Patient restraint for procedures Perform laboratory procedures including hematology, serology, blood chemistry, urinalysis, fecal analysis, and skin/ear cytology Perform or assist with diagnostic testing/radiography Provide comprehensive client education in person and on the phone Assist in surgery and monitor anesthesia. Perform dental cleanings and radiographs Provide nursing care for hospitalized patients Successful Candidate Requirements RVT license Must be motivated, reliable, organized, and adaptable to changes. Committed to learning and practicing Low-stress techniques. Must be able to communicate well with clients by showing care and concern for them as well as their pets. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task, function independently, and contribute to the success of the team in a face-paced environment. Ezyvet software experience is preferred (can substitute experience with other veterinary management software).
