Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) - $20-25/hr + $1,000 Sign-On Bonus + Overnight Bonus Small Animal & Exotic | General Practice + Urgent Care West Ridge Animal Hospital - Greeley West Ridge Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our 10-doctor small animal and exotic veterinary hospital. This role offers a unique blend of general practice, urgent care, emergency medicine, anesthesia, dentistry, and surgery — all while building long-term client relationships. Compensation & Schedule $20-25/hr base pay (DOE) $1,000 Sign-On Bonus - $500 after 90 days, $500 after 6 months Overnight shift bonus
Full-time:
4 x 10-hour shifts per week
Rotations:
~4 overnights/month, ~2 weekends/month, ~2 holidays/year Flexible scheduling available What You'll Do as an RVT Our Registered Veterinary Technicians are fully utilized and perform hands-on patient care including: Anesthesia monitoring & surgical assisting Dental cleanings & digital dental radiographs Emergency triage & urgent care nursing IV catheter placement & fluid therapy In-house laboratory diagnostics Client education & discharge instructions Inpatient & critical care nursing We keep many medical and surgical cases in-house, allowing technicians to follow patients from diagnosis through recovery. Our Hospital We are a private, non-corporate veterinary hospital in Greeley, Colorado, with easy access to Denver and the Rocky Mountains. Our 10,000 sq ft facility includes: Digital radiography & double dental suites with digital dental x-ray Ultrasound Surgical & therapeutic laser Endoscopy, rhinoscopy & laparoscopy Rehabilitation & alternative medicine (acupuncture, VOM, massage) Exotic & avian medicine In-house laboratory & full pharmacy Qualifications Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license in Colorado (or eligible) 1-3 years experience preferred (new graduates welcome) Strong anesthesia and surgery skills Comfortable in both routine and urgent care cases Team-oriented with strong communication skills Benefits Health insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Retirement plan Continuing Education allowance + paid CE days Paid RVT license renewal Mental health support resources Uniform allowance Employee pet discount Flexible scheduling Professional growth & specialty training support Why Join West Ridge Animal Hospital?
