Are you an experienced surgery technician? We want you! Colorado Veterinary Specialty Group is in search of a dynamic individual to be a valuable part of our skilled and passionate surgery team! Here's what we are looking for: Hold a CO State Registered Veterinary Technician license At least one year of veterinary experience required; previous surgery experience desired Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.) Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to work on-call shifts once training is completed Why CVSG?

Competitive Compensation:
We offer competitive wages, based on the length of time spent supporting surgery, along with a robust benefits package including health insurance and a 401k. On-call shift compensation will also be available once training is completed. Independently owned and operated ; we work here, too! What you'll do: Manage appointments, obtain patient histories, medical record keeping, invoicing, patient discharges, etc. Fill medications, enter charges and maintain accurate medical records, schedule appointments Create patient releases, navigate client conversations around treatment plans and financial obligations Prep patients for surgery, including shaving, scrubbing and positioning, assist with intubation and radiographs Proficiently perform blood draws and submit bloodwork Ensure documentation is accurate and complete Open, turning over and clean operating rooms, as well as cleaning instruments and wrapping packs Assist in patient procedures using knowledge of anesthesia and analgesia related protocols and procedures, including formulating anesthetic plans tailored to individual patient needs. Place intravenous catheters, place endotracheal tubes, use and maintain anesthetic equipment Inspire, teach, multitask and be a highly functional team member CVSG is committed to creating an environment where diversity and inclusion thrive.
