Job Description
Description Royal Vista Veterinary Specialists is looking for an experienced, f ull - t ime Registered Veterinary Technician to join our Surgery team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Windsor, CO. About You Y ou'll play an important role in pets' lives by delivering exceptional care to surgical patients from admission through recovery. Your life-changing work will range from utilizing advanced technical skills in anesthesia, perioperative patient care, and patient monitoring, to supporting patient admissions, discharges, and client communications that help ensure outstanding outcomes. The success of your patients' care matters to you, and your success matters to us. Your Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
CVT/RVT/LVT
(active and current) Required- Superior/advanced technical skills
- Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)
- Proven experience monitoring anesthesia for
ASA III-V
patients in a Specialty or Referral setting- Experience operating and monitoring mechanically ventilated patients during anesthetic procedures
- Strong mathematical aptitude with accurate drug, CRI, and anesthetic calculations.
- Possesses a positive work attitude
- Self-motivated
